My YouTube recommendation algorithm brought up "The Seventh Python", an unreleased 90-minute Neil Innes celebration from 2008. It was posted on February 6 and its creator has just asserted copyright and requested removal from YouTube.
So get it while you can. I don't do Facebook, but if someone here could notify Martin, I'm sure he wouldn't let a little legal wrangle stop him from enjoying this well-made film before it vanishes.

I just notified Martin about your post. Even though I also don't do FB, I lurk @ his site to see what's happening, like his appearance @ the Wivenhoe Winterfest last weekend which still may be there.

Nice film about Neil, innit? Now we know that Joel Druckman came up with 'Apollo C. Vermouth'.
Martin's Brightlingsea appearance was delightful. It's true that poetry is meant to be heard, not read. And what about that Q&A? Somebody requested "Computer Dating" which the Guv identified as a lost Plod song! Ever recorded? And Kickstarter backers just got to see "A Mercury Girl" live with full band from the Wivenhoe Fair. Teaser for the Jangling Man film. Shafts of light through the Covid clouds.

Thanks Ted for the tip. I watched it last night & I liked it, although to be honest, I didn't care very much for the "Do you know him" cliche, which I find tiresome, especially directed to people that you know would never know him. Also, I was wondering about Aimee Mann's presence. Aside from that, it was pretty good. It was great seeing Joel Druckman and especially John Halsey since I heard that he was in a bad car accident some years ago. I noticed that most of the songs in the documentary were in the recent reissue of his album "How Sweet It Is to Be An Idiot" which I just got for Chrimble. Thanks again Ted & too bad that Neil left us a bit soon.

Ah, but Aimee is deserving of a place in the film: "The Academy Award-nominated Aimee has known Neil Innes since she lived in England in the early Nineties, and featured his vocals on her album I'm With Stupid, as well as on her classic recording of Harry Nilsson's "One," which was featured in PT Anderson's film Magnolia (along with her song "Save Me" that scored the nomination)."
The film taught me that Quacksie was a pull toy that Neil modified into his signature headwear. I cherish my copy of Grimms' "Rockin' Duck" with the separate cardboard fowl.
Most importantly - how is the single version of Idiot on the reissue? I read that it's a different recording/arrangement with a backing band but I can't hear even a sample online. Guess I'd better order the reissue.

The single version of "Idiot" on the reissue sounds mostly like Neil & his piano. There's 21 songs on said reissue, including something that also appears on the Bonzos' last album (lots of laughter) & the theme from Sir Rawlenson's End
